Character
In the world of terriers, this breed is a true individual. Compared with their hyperactive and playful counterparts, the Sealyham Terriers are real couch potatoes. Beautiful snow-white dogs just love to doze, bask on a soft stove bench and enjoy the comfort of home.
However, they remain true terriers, and they do not have the determination and strength of character. Every day the life of the Sealyham Terrier perceives as a new journey. This is an inquisitive, energetic and cheerful pet, whose optimistic mood is preserved in old age.

The terrier gladly shares any pastime of the owner: with the same pleasure he will make a company in an active walk or get comfortable with you on the couch. With children, this friendly pet also gets along great. However, children should be able to handle animals, because a proud and independent terrier will not tolerate regular twitching of a beard. To treat him with respect.
With proper education, the Sealyham Terrier is a very obedient and responsible dog. By their nature, these snow-white pets always strive to please the owner, so there are no problems in the training and upbringing. But all work with a dog should be moderately persistent and necessarily friendly. To the boring, monotonous pursuits, energetic terriers quickly lose interest, and the master’s rudeness towards them casts doubt and trust, and friendship.
Health
Energetic terriers have good health by nature. The average lifespan of these dogs is 13-15 years.
